Ethernet keeps dropping until board is powered off

I am running a Asus h110i-plus on 10.12.3 and my ethernet on occasion does not work

it will start working again if i power things off and manually disconnect the power plug for 5s.

any ideas?

i am using the latest realtek driver on multibeast
