HELP! Ethernet won't connect, and UEB 3.0 won't work

my first hack. os sierra loaded fine. but it says ethernet cable disconnected. also the usb 3.0 won't work. I've gone into clover and added the kextstopatch:

after entering this i save and exit, then i search for the kext in the kext folders and its nowhere for me to find. i tried rebooting and it still won't read my usb 3.0 external drive
