TP-LINK Archer T9E AC1300 Wifi Adapter isn't found and no drivers installed.

I just bought this WiFi adapter because it was said on this forum thread that it worked OOTB with Hackintosh builds but it doesn't work in mine. I have tried different slots with no change and it does work in Windows and Linux on this same PC.
Can someone please help me get it working?
