Any experience with internal wifi antenna vs. external?

I am building a hacintosh with a nice case from Loque, Ghost S1. I am using a Aorus Z390 WIFI mini-ITX board and the external antennas mess up the nice look overall of the case. I wonder if anyone has experience with internal antennas like this these .

Just like some advice before I buy. They say they are 5dbi so on the paper...
