First user here, thought I'd share as it took me a while to find a working solution.
For the wifi USB adapter Netgear AC600 / A6100, chipset RTL8811AU, I managed to make it work on Sierra using this download:
http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DWA-182
Then select Driver (1.03B01 macOS) and install it.
