I'm building a new machine with an older motherboard and processor. The board is an ASUS P5QPL-AM and the processor is an Intel QX6850 Extreme Quad.

When I bought this board from China, I didn't realize how bare-bones it actually was. No on-board wireless. So I scavenged a wireless card from an old machine, a Dlink Airplus DWL-G520 using an Afheros AR5005-GS chipset.

I'm currently using the on-board graphics and only have 4 GB of RAM. Needless to say, this machine is still pretty bare...

Hello guys, I am really new at macOs. I tried 2 days to install Sierra on my old laptop. First I tried to install High Sierra but I recognize that Sierra will be more stable on my PC.

Today, I could finish installation and see the MacOS desktop but there is no internet, I really do not know my ethernet card. When I check system properties "..... there is no ethernet device". and my HD3000 is working with 512mb vram, I think it is Ok.

Second problem is that I should create a config to turn...

Hi all,

Anybody has a way to disable WiFi/Bluetooth for Gigabyte Z370 AORUS ULTRA GAMING WIFI motherboard? Someone was suggesting modifying the motherboard but I prefer to just disable them in BIOS or macOS.

My goal is to have WiFi/Bluetooth using the Fenvi FV-T919. However, only WiFi works with this card installed, and Bluetooth is not working (not discover any devices) with this card installed. After I took out the card, WiFi is not available and Bluetooth is still in the same state...

Anybody have any experience using a Broadcom BCM943602CS? This has been use on current Macbook Pro retina 2015 with Bluetooth 4.1 upgraded from the previous BCM94360CD. I have a hit and miss buying the BCM94360CD from various Ebay sellers but finally got one seller from Taiwan which work oob. there are various sellers from Ebay but one thing that really interest me is Amazon Uk which some buyers said card works great.

Note for users with older mini PCIe wifi cards such as the 2006 MacBook BCM94321MC: there is no native support in macOS Sierra for your devices. AppleAirPortBrcm43224.kext has been omitted from IO80211Family.kext Plugins in macOS Sierra.

Airdrop does not work.

Hello, I currently have a Hackintosh with macOS Sierra that works very well, the only problem is that Airdrop does not work for me.

In the Finder the option of Airdrop If it is available, but cannot find my iPhone and iPad, my devices do not find the Hackintosh Airdrop either

I am using a PCI Express TP-Link TL-WDN4800 and a generic Bluetooth 4.0 USB.


Is it possible to solve this problem and that Airdrop works perfectly?

Wifi might turn on with 30 secs delay after waking up from sleep

I've upgraded my system with fenvi fv-t919. While hand-off / continuity all that works fine, the wifi turns on slowly now. It needs to wait 30 secs for the wifi to turn on when waking up from sleep. Sometimes, 1 out of 20, it's immediately on though. Does anyone experience this problem? And, know how to fix it?

Hi

I recently got Mojave installed, but I can’t get the WiFi to work.
I’ve got two NICs and neither seems compatible:

Planet IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless PCIe Card

Alfa Network 802.11b/g Long-Range Wireless USB Adapter
Cont.: Model AWUS036H

Could someone direct me to a kext or guide on how to get either of them to work with Mojave?

Hi !

I am using Mojave 10,14,5.
I have an MSI H97 gaming 3 motherboard.
I'm looking for a working kext for the "killer e2205 ethernet card".

I have tested the "AtherosE2200Ethernet" kext that I installed with kextbeast but I still do not have ethernet working.
Also, system report says "No PCI card found" for the ethernet card.

My new machine is running fine under Mojave (10.14.6). USB with instructions from RehabMan under control. All OK except one curious thing: Whenever I open this page in Safari

my mouse begins stuttering (stop and go), videos freezing to the same amount of time. Hard to keep the machine under control using the mouse. Switched from my cordless mouse to a cable mouse: same effect. It doesn’t help to switch to another site or sent safari to the dock...

There is a Tp-Link TG-3269 (RLT8169SC) card and computer with MacOS 10.10.5.

Hi folks,

I'm in the process of putting together a machine that I intend to turn into a hackingtosh, however I cant seem to find windows driver for the PCIE wifi & Bluetooth card....anyone have a link to where to get this? I have searched google but cant seem to find one yet.

I'm trying to make sure that all my components work 100% before trying to build the hackingtosh.

Recently buy this card to use on my Lenovo X250 dualboot osX + Windows 7.
No problem on High Sierra, everything working fine.
But i cannot make it work on windows.
Most of drivers (dell, asus e.t.c.) just not installing at all (most of driver say "The requested device registry key does not exists").
Find only one driver can install (DELL XPS-8900_Network_Driver_C70Y0_WN32_6.30.223.262_A02).
But after installing it adapter not see any wifi networks at all. Bluetooth is working.
As i see card...

I was having issues with both my onboard Atheros ethernet, and a TP-Link PCIe ethernet card, with both regularly dropping the connection. The Atheros did it randomly every 15 minutes or so and then would return after 20 seconds; the TP-Link would just drop dead any time it did anything intensive with my NAS, and I would have to reboot.

I had an Intel NIC in another PC, so I removed the TP-Link PCIe card from the Hack, and replaced it with the Intel card. I then uninstalled both the Atheros...

Installed Intel NIC = Total Chaos!
